MAP OF EUROPEAN ARCHITECTURE

The aim is to generate several complex information about contemporary European architecture from simple questionnaire.
By using knowledge of all EASA people by asking members of 40 European countries about their favorites architectures.
Inside and outside of their countries.
We want to discover the real centers of architecture, but also some well hided architectonic treasures.
The aim is to create on-line database of good architecture which could be easily updated all the time.
We have discovered some quite clear info, e.g. that the most popular architects between EASA members are HdM.
And Le Corbusier and Mies are still present.
City with biggest amount of good architecture is Paris and golden years of architecture are 90's.
We have been also informed about great buildings such as Harbor baths in Copenhagen by Plot or memorial on Adriatic Coast by Ravnikar.
P.S. / We have also discovered that is extremely hard to receive some information from 418 people.
Protože se však vyplněných dotazníků sešlo jen 68 z 418, rozhodli jsme se vytvořit mapu na základě vlastního poznání.
Ne tedy mapu Evropy, ale aspoň mapu Švýcarska.
Tedy spíš Graubündenu.
A tak jsme během několika dní navštívili přes 40 staveb, které jsou uvedeny na malých náhledech výše.
Myslím, že budu mluvit za všechny, když řeknu, že největší zážitek představovala vesnice Vrin a Caminadova architektura.
I když vlastní Zumthorův rodinný dům, Salginatobel Bridge Roberta Maillarta a realizace dvojice Deplazes Bearth hodnotím vysoko.
A málém bych zapomněl na Galfettiho sportovní areál v Bellinzoně - úžasná záležitost.
A samozřejmě Snozziho Monte Carasso.
Zkrátka, pěkný workshop.
